My ancestors were stolen from their homeland, and forced into slavery by whites. And you have the audacity and the poor taste to suggest that it was all for the betterment of me and mine? The fact that we overcame obstacles is of our own doing.
I'm a native born American citizen, with the same rights as you. If you're unhappy with the fact that the POTUS is black and liberal...you could always go back to whence you came from. On your way to becoming the new minority.

Chances are your forefathers were captured by another tribe and sold to white slave traders, although you and I don't know how your forefathers got here. God also created us as fundamentally polygamous. Yet He expects us to control our animal urges. That is what is meant by being in His image: the ability to forgo animal instincts in favor of His Law. The laws of Man also has the expectation that we forgo base urges in order to form a stable society. If He created us to be hopelessly controlled by our animal instincts, if we, ourselves, have no greater expectation, we'd be no different than chimpanzees, and there would be no law, neither God's, nor Man's.

No it does not. What it condemns is temple prostitution, which was prevalent among the Corinthians, and the Greeks and the Romans, for which the Epistles were written.

Yes, you are supporting tyranny. By tyranny, I mean supporting the authority to repress the expression of religious belief because they conflict with your own opinions. You support a direct violation of the 1st Amendment, and think you are justified because you do not share the beliefs of the religious. You label it as bullying because you refuse to accept the distinction between the act and the person - a fundamental distinction to the entire concept of Christianity and forgiveness of sin. But it does not matter your reasons for your defense. You are stating that the state (via the education system) has the authority to repress the expression of religious beliefs by students in a classroom where the teacher was presenting their own social beliefs. That IS tyranny, no matter what you want to call it.

BTW: Even though the NT DOES contain it's own passages condemning homosexuality, the New Testament is not the only Scripture Christians believe in. We also believe in the Old Testament. So did Christ, as I showed in quoting the Gospel of Matthew. So trying to limit your claims to the NT are moot, anyway. Too bad your statement is not only moot, but totally incorrect. And, if you think the Judeo-Christian Bible is hard on homosexuality, take a look at Sharia Law and Islam. There is more involved than just us evil American Christians.
