Bill Cosby to be released from prison after conviction vacated.

Dude was a legend and The Cosby Show had a huge cultural impact. The whole situation is sad. What you see is not always what you get with people.

I'm in between Theo and Vanessa in age. I grew up watching and loving the show. I remember (black) kids in school talking about how much the show meant to them (and even to this day). It sucks that legacy is tarnished by the other stuff. Sad all around.

He was a star for decades. I remember my brothers playing his comedy albums on their record player when I was still in grade school.
 
I never though much of the man as a performer--he always bored the shit out of me--
but by the same token,
I never thought much of the "me too" movement either.

Women have the right to say NO anytime that they want.
They don't have the right to make unfounded accusations months and years after the ALLEGED offenses.
Fuck Gloria Allred and her contingent of whiney skanks.

He broke so many barriers back in the day. Stating the obvious stars are people too and can do bad things but it's just sad (imo).
