Bill Cosby to be released from prison after conviction vacated.

Dude was a legend and The Cosby Show had a huge cultural impact. The whole situation is sad. What you see is not always what you get with people.

I have fond memories of listening to Cosby records as a kid with my siblings

Us all cracking up and having a great time mimicking the characters

Never much watched his dad show crap

Watch "Angel Heart". You'll see her in a different light.

I lover her in Angel Heart. I lover her in Ray Donovan. I loved her in High Fidelity.

She's the kind of bad girl that gives old white men Jungle Fever. She's still hot at 53, and I liked her daughter in the TV version of High Fidelity for the one season that it lasted.

I never though much of the man as a performer--he always bored the shit out of me--
but by the same token,
I never thought much of the "me too" movement either.

Women have the right to say NO anytime that they want.
They don't have the right to make unfounded accusations months and years after the ALLEGED offenses.
Fuck Gloria Allred and her contingent of whiney skanks.

Phylicia Rashad was (is) beautiful. She was the epitome of beauty, intelligence, grace and class.

I don't much about the actress, but the character had no heat at all.
Lisa Bonet and Jasmine Guy carried that ball.
I saw Guy in a stage production of Chicago. She could really sing, too, it turns out.

Excellent post

Yep, them blacks on the jury let O.J. walk. They didn't give a squat about the 2 white people he hacked to death. Nor did the rest of the blacks in America, most of whom danced in the street after the verdict was read.

And beat the snot out of Reginald Denny for working while white.

Bailey: Mr. Furman, have you ever planted evidence onto a crime scene?
Furman: I choose to exercise my 5th Amendment rights.

I remember a scene where Robert Culp was in bed with some broad and Cosby was in another room on a blanket on the floor eating snacks or something and acting goofy. .
It was horrible.

I don't remember that. I liked it. 'Two Professional Tennis Players' ... traveling the Globe, secretly working for the US Government. :)

That was 1965-1968.
I was in college.
Television was NOT a major entertainment source for me when I was 18-21 as you might well imagine.

"I Spy is an American secret-agent adventure television series that ran for three seasons on NBC from September 15, 1965, to April 15, 1968, and teamed US intelligence agents Kelly Robinson (Robert Culp) and Alexander "Scotty" Scott (Bill Cosby), traveling undercover as international "tennis bums". Robinson poses as an amateur with Scott as his trainer, playing against wealthy opponents in return for food and lodging. Their work involved chasing villains, spies, and beautiful women."
