Billo Discovers Black People Eat In Restaurants

Nope. I apologize. Now that I hear it, that is how he meant it.

You know why you can't believe it?

You didn't grow up on LI. Historically the most segregated suburb in the nation, how do you like that?

This is what we've raised.

I'm so proud!

You agree it was pretty condescending? His surprise seemed pretty geniune that black people weren't throwing food and screaming in the restaurant.

"It was just like an Italian restaurant even though the staff and patrons were all black. It was a nice quiet atmosphere people eating and enjoying themselves." (Inexact)

Sounded out of touch and not-too-vaguely prejudiced.

Yeah, it seemed like he actually expected people to be shouting at the wait staff using expletives and talking like gangstas...

Lmao me too.

lol
You too huh?

Its almost like Bill-O has never been around black people. What has he expecting the patrons to act like? Were they supposed to be chugging cheap malt liquor, and calling the waitresess Ho's and b*tchs? what a moron!

I was imagining me sitting with my (black) ex-g/f's parents in a restaurant and commenting on how orderly and peaceful everything seemed for a black establishment.

Oh, didn't you know? That's how most meals around black people go. We don't simply say, "Can you please pass me the salt?", we say stuff like, "Grandma, get 'yo b!tch a$$ up and get me the salt befo' I buss a cap in yo' as$. Rekanize...E-town.....Wessss siiiiiiyyyde" and then we proceed to hold up gang signs and pop off a few guns. Its so quaint.......good times......good times.....

Billo has editors too. I'm suprised that nobody on his staff reviewed those comments, and pointed out to him how utterly stupid and tasteless they were.

But, we are talking about Fox News. ;)

How come he's not getting the "Jimmy the Greek/Ross Perot" treatment for this?

I love seeing that guy skewered. Watching him make his "one & only" public statement about that sexual harassment suit was gold...

Not only would you be humiliated and likely called out on said faux pas....she'd never live it down with her family.

I find it odd that no one has brought that up on his show. If I'm ever on there for anything you can rest assured I'd bring it up.

His entire world is made of stereotypes and delusions which is not uncommon for people of his ilk on the far right.

Rather than "compliment" blacks for our normal behavior .. which is what he thinks he was doing .. he has actually perpetuated the stereotypical delusions of his dementia.

The good news is that most Americans today can see right through his ignorance.

Tiana, it's too bad you can't make a skit like this, and call it "O'Reilly World".

For some strange reason, I'm a firm believer that table manners are not linked to hair color, eye color, or skin color.

But, then again I'm a white liberal male, who doesn't live in Jena, Louisiana.

It's only on Media Matters today. It wouldn't be the first time the msm didn't notice a story until they hammered it for a week or so. I'm hoping.

He has a lot of listeners/viewers, and his books always shoot to #1. There are more fools/'cuture warriors' out there than you think.
