Black Cyclist Arrested After Shooting White Man Who Attacked Him First in Mississippi

You have ZERO proof for that. Sort of like Medicaid doctors requiring people with 15% EF to return to work.

You are correct. I don't know nor have ever talked to any "Medicaid doctors." On the other hand, one MEDICARE doctor told my late husband, when he was sent to him after applying for social security disability, that even though his ejection fraction was only 15%, he could still do some kind of desk job. Never mind that his work experience as a machinist, an airport ramp manager, and an OTR truck driver had nothing to do with "desk work." The second Medicare doc disagreed and certified him as disabled.

He was not of age to legally possess or flourish it. A friend got it for him.

AI Overview

Based on the information presented during the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, the judge dismissed the misdemeanor charge of possession of a dangerous weapon by a minor
.
The defense successfully argued that an exception in Wisconsin law allowed minors to possess shotguns and rifles, as long as they weren't short-barreled. Since the rifle Rittenhouse was carrying had a barrel longer than 16 inches, the minimum allowed under state law, the judge dismissed the charge.

The police know a lot more about this altercation than you do. They think he had turned into the aggressor.
The police said he absolute opposite. The police say Butler was not the aggressor in either confrontation.

The sheriff stated that even though law enforcement knows now — after conducting an investigation that included the Mississippi Bureau of Investigations and the FBI — that Butler wasn’t the aggressor in either confrontation

He armed himself and went back to the scene of the first altercation. That is evidence. He didn't have to return to the scene.
Just a reminder, you are considering anywhere outside to be "the scene". The second altercation happened a mile away from the first.

So yes, he did need to return to "the scene", in that he did have to go outside at some point in his life.

Sure he did.

And Ejection Fraction of 15% would qualify for heart transplant surgery.

He fled the scene of the shooting police had to hunt him down..so there goes his Stand Your Ground
Or he felt threatened by the criminals attacking him. Fleeing the scene can be used to as part of the evidence that he was aggressor... But it has already been established by the police that he is not the aggressor. Moving on.

You just said the police need to take it to the grand jury. Were you lying again?
I have never said the police need to take anything to a grand jury. The police do not take things to a grand jury.

The prosecutor, not the police, decides on charges, and then takes those charges to a grand jury... If there are any. The prosecutor can decide to not charge Butler with anything, and given the police report says he is not the aggressor, that looks very likely.

One of us should bookmark this discussion, keep an eye on new developments, and post it when the spurious charges are dropped.

This discussion wouldn't even exist had the bicyclist been White and the aggressors Black... unless it was posted to scream in outrage about reverse racism.
They do seem desperate to find some technicality that makes Blacks guilty.

If this guy had armed himself and ran into the other guys at a totally different place the next day.
Just as a reminder, he ran into a different guy, and it was a mile away, so the first two parts of your statement actually work to Butler's advantage.

So you say that victims of crimes are required to hide in doors for a day?

The guy was part of the group he encountered earlier and the altercation was on the way to the scene of the first altercation.

The police say the absolute opposite. So again, who should we believe, you a racist willing to say anything, or the police who actually investigated the incidents.

Investigators later determined that the shooting victim — who Patten said was not a member of the same group of men who attacked Butler during the first incident — was the aggressor in the second altercation with Butler.
