I think this mantra by the left ... I think it's gonna backfire....and I am not real happy about that. I like some of what the TP stands for but having either side completely in control right now wouldn't be a good thing, IMO.

My focus, and the bulk of the excerpts I posted from the articles was on the threats of VIOLENCE. The fact that he is black is only important for the context of being called someone's 'boy'.

the tea party part is wholly irrelevant to you making this about race...tff how you want to deflect away from YOU making it about race...

you changed the title and made it about a BLACK gop official....why was it necessary to make his race known in your title? you didn't need to focus on his race, but you did and then falsely accused me of focusing on it....

thats like me making a title saying "WOMAN driver kills." you would of course be all over me for making it about her gender.

if you read the article, numerous people quit and it wasn't about race. further, i am not running around BLAMING anyone, merely giving my opinion about the veracity of his story. huge difference to anyone with two brain cells.

that you don't understand the difference between actually blaming someone with ZERO evidence, and having an opinion as to the veracity of a claim shows me you are stupid.

Yurt, do you have a reading problem or a comprehension problem? I didn't change the title, I composed my own title. I explained WHY his race was ONE important element, because of the racial comments he received. But the threats of violence is why he resigned...

There is racism and then there's playing the race card in the context of partisanship. I'd argue brgrn is doing the latter.

There's nothing democratic about the Democrat Party. I'm a member of the Republican Party not the "Republicanatic" Party. The Democrat Party is comprised of Democrats not "Democratics". Its no surprise to me that you don't understand the Democrat's true, hidden agenda, which is total usurpation of the Constitution. :)

Former Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO) wants a requirement for a civics and literacy test before people are allowed to vote. He told the First National Tea Party Convention last week he “intensely dislikes” John McCain and is glad he lost. Tancredo has also called for the bombing of the Muslim holy sites in Mecca and Medina in retaliation for a future terrorist attack in America.

After the passage of 46 years there is now a small movement to bring back Jim Crow Laws. Former Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO) believes this is a good idea, and is now actively promoting the concept. Jim Crow Laws were literacy tests adopted by Southern states after blacks were granted citizenship rights under the 15th Amendment.

Potential black registrants had to answer difficult questions and were also confronted with a poll tax. Both practices were banned by the Voting Rights Act of 1964, and African American turnout increased by a huge percentage after the restrictions were lifted.

Tancredo does not use the phrase Jim Crow Laws, but instead talks of a literacy and civics test requirement for voters.

If you don't like my political views, you'll hate the views of Democrats like Harry Truman and John F. Kennedy. Or even the views of Republicans like Dwight Eisenhower and Barry Goldwater.

My views have a LOT of the first two and much of the second two on most issues.
