Here's the old "it's different for them than it is for us" argument. I knew this argument would come about as soon as I read cawacko's post. Surprised it took this long. If the guy resigned for fear of violence (and it appears that this is the reason)....fine. I hate that he felt that threatened. If he resigned solely because some nitwit called him someone's boy...his skin is too thin.
For months now one side has seen the surge of the Tea Party's support and they are fighting back the only way they know how it seems (otherwise they'd resort to better tactics). The seem to be trying to paint all of them into a neat little box as racist, gun-toting, slobbering idiots blindly following the commands and directions of Sarah Palin and the like.
I think this mantra by the left ... I think it's gonna backfire....and I am not real happy about that. I like some of what the TP stands for but having either side completely in control right now wouldn't be a good thing, IMO.
This is the good ole USA, all Tea Party members are bad, all Muslims are bad, all liberals are bad, all conservatives are bad, all rappers are bad, the list goes on and on.
