To all of you who attacked me for suggesting that Black Lives Matter, the organization, are nothing more than run-of-the-mill, garden variety Marxists, I accept your apologies. If you're too lazy to watch the entire video, the money shot starts at around 3 minutes.

Anybody can post these propaganda videos on YouTube, of which the not so intelligent will believe without questioning the contents or the origins.

The old somebody somewhere knows the truth trick. All the experts involved now have to take a back seat to Countryboy's video.

Karl Marx did not advocate for totalitarianism, crimes against humanity, the Gulag, political terror, or authoritarian oppression.

It is not his fault Soviet communists coopted and misused his name, long after his death

Karl Marx was wrong about some fundamentals of his economic predictions.

But as a philosopher of history, he made extremely important and prescient insights into the human condition, the immortality of lassaize faire capitalism, and the ethical limitations of the profit motive

You can always tell an uneducated and uninformed tRumpanzee by their frequent misuse and total misunderstanding of Marxism.

Marx would have never resorted to the tactics used by tRump. On the other hand, Hitler invented quite a few of them......)

They as well as most young liberals follow no such things. They don't even know what that shit is our who the Marx guy was. It's just another curmudgeonly Republican boogeyman. Playing some random and asinine Youtube video as evidence on the matter is pathetic lunacy.

The Soviet Communists, the Romanian Communists, the East German Communists, the Chinese Communists, the Vietnamese Communists, the Cuban Communists, the Korean Communists, you name a group of Communists and you get an authoritarian dictatorship, demolition of the economy by imposed wealth confiscation and Socialism, political repression (usually because after just a few years of Communism people would vote it out for a Democratic Capitalist system), etc.
Marx might not have expressed this being the case but it is 100% of the time the case when Communists get in charge.

Aside from that, Marx and Engels were wrong in almost all of their predictions about society and economics.

Marx's project was never implemented, certainly not in the Soviet Union, PRC, or DPRK. He never advocated despotic rule or political terror.

I also doubt anyone under the age of 50 is going to be frightened by elderly conservatives trotting out the Marx boogeyman again.

Marx's historical determinism had been proven totally wrong. His economic program was not particularly well thought out.

But Marx's social criticism and critiques of untethered capitalism was relevant to the times. And some of his insights remain relevant to this day. He was asking the right questions - even as he did not necessarily come up with the right answers.

Marx's criticism and critiques are irrelevant as they are little more than the ramblings of a failed academic seeing as how Marx never really did anything outside the library or an academic setting. He neither asked the correct questions or came up with the correct answers. All-in-all, Marx should be relegated to history as a footnote on failure.

Country Schmuck, doesn't BLM is marxist sound a bit hokey to you?????

Ask two of the founders, they refer to themselves as trained Marxists. Maybe you could also tell me why, when you donate money to BLM, you are redirected to an organization called ActBlue.

Ah, the old "it's never been done right" schtick. Nice try. Maybe you should actually read that Communist Manifesto you've had on your bookshelf all these years.

Where did I "misuse Marxism"?

Dude, two of the founders of BLM are on video bragging about being "trained Marxists". You can bury your head in the sand all you want, it doesn't change reality.
