BLM are Marxists

Well, doesn't it seem odd that almost every successful Marxist movement sows division, overthrows the current government, and then creates a more oppressive or violent regime of its own?

That's Communism.

Let's use Martin Luther as an example. He was an inspiration to Hitler. Luther never said to eliminate the Jews.

Calling those type of Christians "Lutherans" to say they're anti-Semitic is pretty silly.

That's not even a valid comparison. Communism is specifically a form of Marxism. Nazism is not specifically a form of Lutheran Christianity.

My understanding is that Karl Marx was committed to democracy. So democratic socialism is probably more akin to what Marx advocated. Marx was certainly never a proponent of despotic rule.

The problem with Lenin and the Bolsheviks is they believed in totalitarian, one party rule in which the masses are led and ruled over by a revolutionary elite. That is basically a dictatorship. And the Bolsheviks were openly hostile to democracy and democratic socialism.

Unfortunately, Lenin and the Soviets became the revolutionary model for many 20th century conmunist movements.

Sure, it can, but what are you getting at here? Not every Marxist is a Communist, but every Marxist is anti-capitalist, which is why they want capitalist systems to fall.

Nope. Marxism is about the class struggle. Everyone has a materialistic need. We can see that today.

Who does that sound like?

The Bolsheviks were committed totalitarians who were utterly willing to use political terror to maintain one party rule by a revolutionary elite.

To some extent it is anachronistic to conflate Marx with 20th century political movements, but I believe the record shows he was first and foremost a socialist who was supportive of democracy.

There have been plenty of democratic socialist governments and movements in Europe which did not result in Gulags or Khmer killing fields

To all of you who attacked me for suggesting that Black Lives Matter, the organization, are nothing more than run-of-the-mill, garden variety Marxists, I accept your apologies. If you're too lazy to watch the entire video, the money shot starts at around 3 minutes.

Yup people need to wake up and realize this is a Marxist rebellion.

Not only THAT, they absolutely HATE llamas. Those bastards!
