Let's say my daughter is pulled over by the cops and given a frivolous ticket. When we go to court and they drop the charge do I need to be interested in the name of the DA or even whether he exists in order to be happy for my daughter? Elation that one thing is not happening anymore does not mean interest in the cause of what had been happening.
