While I agree that any emails/threats they received about treason etc... are idiotic....

Is the "federation" taking actions against these ladies for "what" the sign said or because it was political in nature and they don't want their tournaments slowly escalating into political rallies? To be clear I am not suggesting in any way that this was a rally or even intended to be anything remotely like that. But perhaps the "federation" doesn't want to even see that first baby step down that path????

But to be fair, you’d only glean that if you had reading comprehension above the 4th grade level. Cypress should really have provided a crayola-colored bullet list.
 
Never mind, upon reading the entire article it appears the ""federation" leader is a tool. Had he stated that he didn't want these events turning political that would have been one thing. But he clearly states they shouldn't be allowed to criticize Bush because they represented the country.

I pointed out many inconsistancys in the Friedman thread. I was by far the most informed about the Chile situation. That was obvious as I was one of only few if any that didn't need google to assist my position. I've had that argument many times. There are two areas people try to discredit Friedman, Chile and do you know the other? I've had that debate also.

My 45 posts vs your well over 1000 must mean your smart.

I didn't google anything about Chile, I have read several books about it, and the bs you were spewing on that thread was some of the least informed i have seen.

Still googling Chile books Darla? It took you all of 10 seconds to respond to my previous posts before I asked you to provide some evidence of your claim. Seriously you have to know that your a fraud when you post obvious lies.

Who cares if these people voted for Bush? Is it going to bring the great "Bridge Boycott" to the fore?

I can't imagine what kind of point they are making with this. And the whole part about heavier sanctions if they don't tell on whomever... It's so fricking 1984, were it the government doing it. Instead it is some Bridge club. But if they were running the nation, it certainly would be 1984 come home to roost.
