Bush and the US economy

Definitely. All while they are simply lowering the interest rates to cover it up. It's like a cat and his poop....

It's still there people. And so far the only thing those in power, R or D, have suggested is making sure people don't lose their houses. Not correcting the fricking root cause.

Kind of like trying to "fix" healthcare by switching around who pays for it without addressing the issue of escalating costs. This bunch of politicians is pathetic at best. How friggin hard is it to understand that you cannot solve problems simply by throwing money at them. You actually have to understand the root of the problem and then FIX it.

Oh look...Damo and SF agreeing with each other, validating each other, and patting each other...I've never seen that before. It's unusual to see two conservatives agreeing with each other....it must mean they're right about this.

Oh Duhla you cypress and Ladyt pat each others turbo lib backs multiple times a day for validation. Hellow ms. pot meet kettle.

So essentially what you are saying is that you have no valid response to what we have posted so now you will try to act like a petulent child? Try as hard as you want to divert from what we have stated, it is evident that neither you nor US has anything of value to add. Who knows, you might even provide us with a chuckle?

I already told you what I had to tell you, and you still haven’t refuted my post, because you can’t dear. As far as your and Damo’s posts go, I swear to God I didn’t read them, I just saw the opening words of about six in a row as I was perusing down. You didn’t think for a minute I really cared what the heck you two where affirming each other over? Come on Sf! I like both of you very much, but neither of you make much sense politically, sorry.

What haven't I answered/refuted? I do beleive I have answered each of your posts on this thread.... and if you didn't read our posts then how would you know whether or not we had answered you?

So saying that neither party did anything to solve this problem doesn't make sense to you?

Gee I wonder why the Dem led house hasn't done anything?

I also wonder why they continue to allow the credit card industry to charge consumers 20%+ ? Why not protect the consumer and simply impose tighter credit standards here as well so that people do not get tempted to live beyond their means and end up burying themselves in debt?

Note to SF , it was too late by the time they took office to really effect this and they had a few other things to do like the corruption and war.

Go back and read my post addressing this, and then let me knwo what your answer was, becaue I didn't see one, and I'm not retyping my answer to you.

right.... so much to do.... and WHAT exactly have they done to end the war or corruption desh?

Also, while it may indeed have been too late for the current Dem leadership to stop the current problem, don't you think it would be wise to correct the problem so that it cannot be repeated in the future? Does it really take much time and effort to draft a bill that would do so?

HR Bill "x":

The Community Reinvestment Act of 1977, amended in 1995 by Bill Clinton, is hereby repealed.

See how easy that is?

(and yes, I am being a tad sarcastic in the simplicity)

Bottom line Desh.... the blame goes to BOTH parties as far as what they did not do to stop this problem. The bulk of the blame for the problem itself lies in the hands of the lenders and borrowers. It is pure partisan hatred to blame just one party.

Sorry, but you can cut and paste it so that I do not assume which one of your posts "addressed" this. You say we don't make sense on this in blaming both parties, but you have not provided one shred of evidence that we are wrong in blaming both. Like Desh, you simply want to blame the "other" party and ignore the lack of effort by your own party.

"It was a moment ripe for Keynesian economics, a time to prime the pump by spending more money on education, technology, and infrastructure"

LOL.. Yeah Bush should have went back to the policys that failed us in the 60's 70's.

"We are all Keynesians now" Richard Nixon.

Thanks for the laugh.

It is pure partisan hatered to try to spread the blame equally to the party which has had no control for the last 6 years.
