99.9% of gun owners are responsible. Limits? There are over 20,000 gun laws on the books already. I'd say there's quite a few "limits" on our 2nd. Amendment rights already. So, gun rights are far from infinite despite having the "shall not be infringed" right "to keep and bear arms."

This is also a game of statistics and odds. If you increase the number of guns held by a given society you increase the probability that guns will be diverted in ever growing numbers and more and worse things happen.
