California now has the worst COVID-19 spread in US

It also has highest population density, the bases for the entertainment industry, the most agriculture, the most international trade. Basically, the state of California has more essential workers that can't sit on the sidelines than anywhere else in America. The lockdowns don't affect essential workers the same since they are deemed needed for society to function.

According to this, California is number 17 and that's WITH including territories that aren't actually states, such as Puerto Rico.
This is also for overall density, not density areas. California, being huge, has lots of regions that are rural and lots of regions that are dense. We should also probably include overall population, which California is number 1 in.

Ten real states have higher population density than CA, you were not even in the vicinity of being right.

Southern and central California has some of the most densely populated areas in the country with huge metropolitan areas on top of each other.

Also at being a ignoramus, you forget to factor in California's population compared to other states at about 40 million. Yet the death rate in California remains stable compared to the over all infection rates in terms of not being much higher or lower than other states in the top category of impacted areas. Now is a good time to remember that California adores the rainbow partly made from poor immigrants who want to live three and four generations to a house or apartment. The state has always turned a blind eye to overcrowded structures. Decisions carry consequences.

It's going to get worse before it gets better: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve, the National Elimination of Trump Day Jan 6 2021...
A lot of festivity and revelry is going to continue to occur up the cases.

Stay strong California. Stay safe. Stay out of the hospital by wearing those masks, distancing and staying at home.
