I haven't been in our plant for some time now but I have been looking a several of the trucks we make body parts for and I think they are doing a good job.
You have to remember the quality part is controlled by the engineers and there is only so much the guy on the line has control of.

Like I said the person on the production line doesn't have too much to do with the quality part of it, they only put the steel into the press, or part into the assembly line.

I am fairly bright....repeating yourself to me is rarely required....tends to be a drag actually.

I am seeing so many stories of people claiming that they recently bought an $80K piece of shit pick-up or a half a million piece of shit boat or a million dollar piece of shit RV.

But like on YouTube.

I dont see mention of the collapse of quality story in Regime Media or even most Alt-Media ....and I dont think it is because there is nothing to talk about.....I think that people other than the victims generally dont want to talk about it.

There is substantially more steel production capacity around the world than is needed.

So rather than buy steel from Mexico and Canada, we should buy it from China?

It takes time to ship steel. If you thought you were going to buy your steel from Canada, and have to buy it from China, you are getting your steel several months later than you thought you would.

We are losing a lot of high paying jobs, in an attempt to get a few low paying jobs.

Well I know the people I have talked to about the new small pick up the company I worked for started making 2 or 3 years ago love them , and I am looking at buying one real soon.

I am not sure about engines , we made floor pans / doors/ body sides / roofs .
And some people don't know but GM might make a part or 2 for Ford, and Ford for Dodge we use to all the time when I was working.

If Mexico and Canada decide to be pricks of course.

Or buy it from somewhere else and the Chinese will fill in any needs that develop....there will be no global shortage.
