Canadians Prepared to Go to War Against America to Defend Independence from Trump: 'Just Say When'

DO NOT come to the Big Island. Too crowded, unbelievably high violent crime, volcanoes everywhere, golf courses are goat tracks.
Just kidding actually. We’re trying to keep it secret.

Great place for the winter being from anchorage . No real sticker shock but housing might be. Our house has doubled in value since we bought six years ago.
I’d probably get island fever if I was here full time though.
We just returned from a week in Maui and we still like it here the best. Kauai second.
Oahu too crowded.
Drove through Lahaina on the way home and they’re still sucking wind.
Good to know, thank you.

Dry heat is good as long as it's not too hot. Higher elevations in the mountains of New Mexico and Arizona would produce nice, year-round temps.
Humid heat does make it harder on the body, but we have air conditioning, so I figure I will be OK. But the dryness just bothers my skin, and my everything. And it often means that water is in short supply, causing all sorts of trouble.

I am really thinking about Hawaii. It is a little out in the middle of nowhere, but you can take planes to West Coast for business meetings.

Question:

Given that Trudeau has confiscated nearly all firearms, and that the Canadian military is all but nonexistent, what will they oppose the invasion with?

Maybe they can con some Canadian thugs into fighting...?

That's because you were on a boat instead of on the beach.

If you were as smart as you think you are, you'd know more about guerrilla warfare and insurgencies over the past 90 years.

It's his only talent, except for conning the poorly-educated and gullible deplorable garbage that voted for him.
The mindless rubes who worship Trump haven't even thought out the consequences of making Canada a state. At a minimum, two more Democratic senators, if not more, (Ontario and Quebec would surely demand to be individual states), and then padding the Democratic House caucus by perhaps 20 more seats.

that's not a thought that terrifies me, given that over 20 million Americans are veterans with semi auto and auto weapons.
The alt right just makes up numbers.

There are only 16.2 million veterans total in the USA, and many do not own guns. Full auto weapons are very rare in the USA, they have to have been made before 1986. Semi-auto are more common, but a surprising number of them are owned by people who own many of them. That reduces the number that are owned by everyone else.

There is a reason that combat soldiers generally do not carry handguns. They are not optimized for warfare. Most of those semi-auto guns are handguns. I would not want to take on a M-16 with a Glock 26; especially if the soldier carrying the M-16 has modern body armor. I would much prefer a hunting rifle with some range.

That is what the Ukrainians used to kill so many Russian generals at the beginning of the Russian invasion.

LOL on your alt right bullshit

I question your bullshit source as well. from your so called BS article "there were around 16.2 million veterans in the United States in 2022. A majority of those veterans are of the Vietnam War era, and are men over the age of 75."

I guess if you're going to lie, lie hugely.

since you know next to nothing about guns or their uses, your reasoning on handguns and rifles for warfare is laughable.

As for auto weapons, i'm sure you're referring to only those that are officially registered............and as usual you are failing to realistically account for unregistered.

I guess Smarty has his own reality. In our reality, if you want a huge number of veterans, you draft people. The draft ended over half a century ago, so the really huge number of veterans are dying out. In fact, WWII veterans are almost gone, almost all being over 100. The WWI veterans are all gone. The majority of the Korean War veterans are gone. The Vietnam War Era veterans are dying out.

since you know next to nothing about guns or their uses, your reasoning on handguns and rifles for warfare is laughable.
Odd how almost all combat soldiers carry rifles rather than handguns.

Almost all guns are officially registered at one point. If you lose your registration on a fully automatic gun, you have lost a very expensive thing indeed.

It is extremely rare for a fully automatic gun to be found.
