Likely did. It is hypocritical of anyone saying they want to stop the spread of a disease to stop anyone from making a sane choice and getting tested solely for political ideological reasons. Supporting this kind of hypocrisy is equal hypocrisy.
The reality is, if you really don't want to spread the disease and someone is coming to get tested that surprises you, rejecting them because you are surprised doesn't make the point that folks should get tested. This rejection only underlines and supports the arguments that Candace has been making.
If it was important, and they thought she could spread the disease they'd test her, since ideology got in the way we know it is a political decision rather than one based on a healthy community.
