No, they are most certainly not the same. Because the "Iraq war was right" implys that the actions Bush HAS taken were the correct ones.
The Iraq war was wrong in both the timing and in the execution by Bush. He screwed the pooch. (and no, I am not referring to Chelsea)
I could actually accept something like "Iraq was inevitable", if the reasoning was that our leaders tend to be as dumb as rocks, and a decision as purely idiotic as the decision to invade Iraq was inevitable given the gross stupidity that we have come to expect from said leaders.
To say it was inevitable as a means to put a halt to incessant nose-thumbing? Really...it's something that should automatically exclude anyone from any future discussions on national security.

There was nothing "inevitable" about war with iraq. That's just a cop out, to keep from admiting that Saddam posed no threat to us, and that there were other SANE ways to deal with iraq, other than invading.

Saying the war was inevitable does not equate to "bush did the right thing".
As for justification, I do believe the WAR was justifiable as well. But that too does not equate to "Bush did good" or any crap like that.
