But the latter alone is better than the former alone.

Only if you don't know what R0 is when it comes to spread of an infectious disease. If the vaccine gets R0 < 1 then the infection will eventually stop.

The vaccine does help to stop the spread because it reduces the time someone is infectious and reduces the amount of virus they shed. Perhaps if you were a little smarter you might know that. Luckily the rest of us don't have to worry about R0 and the spreading of your stupidity.
False. That statement was restricted to the BEGINNING of the Delta wave. Words matter, and precision matters. That statement applies to the past. There is no evidence to suggest that it is still true of Delta infections that occurred months ago, nor is there any evidence that it is true of Omricon. And the risk of getting the disease is very different than the risk of being hospitalized or dying from the disease. The severity of infection is not addressed in the study. You are 20 times more likely to be hospitalized without being vaccinated, and 15 times more likely to die.
