Is there a bullet to match to the gun? I have not heard of one. Why was the crime scene immediately scrubbed? Is there audio to be analyzed like there was at Butler?

You've watched too many police dramas. If a jacketed, soft point, semi-spitzer round was used, and that's likely, it is often too deformed after impact or backstopping to determine what weapon fired it. It'd be different if it carried to its terminal range, but that's unlikely.
