I never said anyone denied.
I said that the OP and all the bible thumpers that came after it made a guy hanging on a cross and bleeding out the most noteworthy and important thing to focus on for the Easter celebration.
No bible thumper disputed that premise until I mentioned that the crucifixtion and execution was on Good Friday, it was not on Easter, and the whole purpose of the Easter celebration was to rejoice in the resurrection and renewal.
Easter is not about a guy bleeding out on a cross. That would be a depressing holiday indeed. Why did bible thumpers not even contemplate that until I mentioned it?? Are you not familiar with your own religion?
This entire event is comprised of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
