that is an illogical construct. Or else you see disaster - are you prescient?
It's logical. It speaks to the repetitive ability of people to delude themselves, because they want to believe.

well now you are just ranting..good to see you again Thing. It's logical. It speaks to the repetitive ability of people to delude themselves, because they want to believe.
Did any of them refuse to take their salary and work for FREE?
None of them are as Transparent as the Don.
It is the drama queen Left that is fretting over the likes of ice cream scoop-gate, fish food-gate, and high heel-gate.
You don’t understand the definition of narciscism if you think Obama was a narcissist, Obama has empathy for others, something Trump lacks.
It's not debatable, and you're going w/ anatta's argument there: it doesn't matter if the President is moral, or a role model, or anything we'd want our children to emulate, as long as he/she gets results.
It's a valid argument, but I'll never join it.
You have more faith than I do. I think those who still support him are in deep. Their minds are gone.
Healthcare, it has hurt a lot of people and Trump hasn’t made it better. There are still a lot of things that can go very wrong between now and 2020. Trump has a lot to do. Tariffs are scaring Trump voters. He could win, but there are a lot of factors that could help or hurt him.
Trump had no plan to fix it, please show proof Trump.Healthcare was fucked up by the progressive wing of the democrats. It was a power grab of 1/3 of the average Americans income. Obamacare took a bad insurance program, and made it worse. Not only iwith insurance costs, but in how actual care is delivered. Voters remember what Obama did. They also saw Trump make valid attempts to fix it- and the political elites prevent him from doing so.
He promised cheaper healthcare for all, he has failed miserably and has no plan, Trump didn’t know healthcare could be so complicated. He can’t deliver on his promise because his tax cuts for the rich have priority. He's a pants on fire, effing liar.
May 2017, In an interview with CBS's "Face the Nation" on Sunday, Trump guaranteed protections for patients with preexisting conditions, something he has done since the campaign.
June 9, 2018 (Washington D.C.) – The Trump administration is asking a court to strike down a provision in the Affordable Care Act which requires insurance companies to cover people with pre-existing conditions, the Los Angeles Times reports.
when Trump starts extrajudicial killings you'll have a point. It's not a valid argument to me, either. Duterte brags that he's ridding his country of drug pushers and addicts... an admirable goal... yet he's accomplishing this by extrajudicial killings. trump needs to be watched carefully and have his feet held to the fire on some of his more outrageous comments.
when Trump starts extrajudicial killings you'll have a point.
Of course comment "matter" but only when they effect results. in the long run.
Jack Minzey assumes that in the summer of 2016 - before Trump was elected - there were no legitimate grounds for investigating possible collusion between the Trump campaign and agents of a foreign power. How does he know that? Well, the ones behind the investigation, then and now, were 'Democrats' like Comey, Rosenstein and Mueller. Those aren't Democrats, you say? No problem, move the goalposts a little - they are 'Deep State'. Why else would they cast doubt on the people's choice? They have no legitimate gounds ... back to square one.
People like this author have swallowed Trump's propaganda whole and without question. If Trump tweeted that the sun rises in the west, I think they would swallow that, too. Anyone who disputed it would be Democrats. Or Deep State. Or something.
Btw, where is this piece quoted from? There is no citation.
neither do I. Not on a Machiavellian level.I don't buy into the theory that the end justifies the means.
Trump isn't plain spoken. He is as far from plain spoken as anyone I have seen in public life. He talks in circles and exaggerations, and frequently contradicts himself.
I believe that most Trump supporters will be embarrassed about their support for him in a few years, and many will deny it. I have seen this phenomenon before, w/ the Iraq War & Bush.
It's the sick freaks on the right who gave us Pizzagate.

I don't buy into the theory that the end justifies the means.

It’s barely Monday and Thing brings up Iraq lol.
I’ve never been more satisfied with my Trump vote than I am today.
It's a misattribution.
