Unfortunately we cannot go directly to the ultimate goal without setting and achieving some intermediate goals.

Even when vaccines are widely available we will still need to be using masks and practicing distancing.

We have to use all the tools in our arsenal until the threat is passed.

I am just amazed at the number of people who are just blowing this off.

I watched a football game on Sunday. Good game. The Colts and the Packers.

The Colts coach wore a mask as a chin-strap the entire game.

I wonder if he had any idea just how dumb that looked on national TV?

As if wearing a mask on one's chin is gonna do anything.

He may as well have simply saved himself the irritation and ditched the mask.

He had a face shield on. The NFL has decided that is enough.

Was he afraid his chin was going to get COVID?

I only accidentally caught the very end of this WWENFL game... The NFL is all fake bullshit too... All the Colts had to do was run out the clock and win, but noooooo, let's purposely commit twenty holding penalties in a row to allow the Packers to keep their timeouts and get the ball back and purposely leave a receiver wide open down field for a big play so that the Packers can drive it all the way down the field and ALMOST get a touchdown to win, but nope, not quite, because the game needed to go into overtime for the "suspense factor"... Then the Packers get it first in OT but then purposely fumble it away so that the Colts can win like they should've won to begin with by just running out the clock, but that sort of boring "run out the clock" ending wouldn't be NEAR as "THRILLING" as going into OT, now would it?? The WWENFL is just that, entertainment... It is not a sport.

People did not do it. That was the birth of Karens and angry rightys fighting and screaming at people just doing their jobs. They were so sure Corona was a conspiracy they deliberately coughed in workers' faces. I guess they did not care about how astoundingly rude that was, let alone how dangerous.
After all this time rightys learned nothing. Corona travelled like the doctors and epidemiologists said it would. They said opening up early would supercharge the spread. That is what happened. The Medical profession said winter would concentrate people inside and it would spread faster. That is precisely what happened.
Thanksgiving will be a Corona disaster. Deaths and illness are the gifts rightys are bringing for Xmas.
