You wouldn't get into one anywhere near where I live. A gas station convenience store would throw you the hell out.
People who put up a fuss about not being let in actually do get arrested. There aren't many of them anymore as a result.

I won't ask about public transportation because they don't have much of that in red state hell.
But you wouldn't get near a bus or a subway or a cab or an Uber around here, either.

I suppose if you live in a rural area, you're just waiting to get it because they're the ones getting hammered now.

A nice Airsoft paint ball mask will last far longer than paper or cloth, it can be washed in the dishwasher, and it is complies with face covering or face mask rules.

What needs to happen is some good faith negotiations with the Chinese. They need us just as much as we need them. If our economy falters, theirs takes a hit, too. It is in the interest of both countries to work out a mutually beneficial agreement.

We need to have trade balance. For product in excess of a balance then tariffs are appropriate.

It doesn't work long term for either nation to have a trade imbalance.

The air gaps in a cloth mask are far larger than paper. Testing indicates that where the best mask, the N95, stops 95% of virus particles, a paper surgical mask stops 44%, and a cloth mask stops about 5%.

That's why it is everyone's interest to at least use the paper mask.

N95s are pricier and less comfortable, but the most effective.

The only reason we began using cloth masks was because they are better than nothing, and at the time their use began it was very difficult to obtain paper masks since the supply was tapped out.

The reason we began using cloth masks no longer exists, so it would be better if everyone migrated to paper or N95.

Yes. I've had no issues thus far, even in uber liberal Dane County. In fact, I've only ever had two people come up any say something to me. One was a fellow non-complier. Another was an older guy in a neck gaiter who pointed to it and told me that he "hates these things".

Still haven't gotten it. I only know a couple people who have gotten it and it was extremely mild for both of them. One of them is even mildly asthmatic and is prone to bronchitis/pneumonia from respiratory infections... She didn't even get a cough or a fever... Just a loss of taste/smell. The other only had a slight cough for a few days (and loss of taste). Covid is a big nothingburger...
