How can people be stupid enough to insinuate that states like AZ or NV are slow to count votes? Every single state allows people to vote by mail and they all stipulate that the ballots must be postmarked by election day. That means (especially in swing states) that whenever the margin between candidates is close the winner cannot be determined until the ballots are received and counted. Every single state is still counting votes why isn't anyone bitching about them? Why? Because the margins there were far enough apart that the race results were known and called. Swing states will always be the last ones called and take longer and with the right wing fuhrer insinuating that voting by mail is bad, those late arrivals will always favor the democrat.

You also see these states reporting how many ballots are left to be counted even before receiving them. That is because they know just how many were sent out and who they were sent to. Not all states allow ballots to be postmarked by election day. Some states require that the ballots be received on or before election day. It looks like 28 require it be received by election day.

The next question is when they can start validating ballots. For instance Wisconsin requires the ballots be received on or before election day but they can't start verifying them until election day. That means they have to open every envelope on election day and check signatures before they can start counting them.

48 states have not finished counting. They may have finished counting the majority of the ballots but counting can occur until the vote totals are certified. Do you not understand the vote counting process?
