Computer Question

Sounds viral.

Restart in safe mode (hit f8 during the start-up) then go to safety.live.com and do a complete system scan. It takes a bit of time but will clean out all that porn shit you've been looking at.

It does take awhile huh. Do I need to sit here the whole time?

I paid for some type of anti-virus software which seemed to be working. Is what I'm doing now redundant?

Have you updated your virus definitions lately? Some people never do, and they create new viruses every day. I am with DY on this one, sounds like a trojan worm, and if that's not it, you probably just have a real crappy ISP which is dropping chunks of the web.. that happened to me before.

When IPv6 is implemented worldwide, there will more IP addresses than stars in the Milky Way and then some.

Sounds like communism. I know I don't want none of that. I'm sticking with IPv4, the IP protocol of freedom, of God, of America, the red white and blue, and if any of you fellers try ta implement that commie protocol anywhere near ma home imma send you ta meet your maker.

you could...if they do not have secured wireless networks. mine is secure. if the network is open, i don't know if its stealing. i have a friend who leaves his unsecured for those who can't afford it. *shrug*

btw...what browser and did you clear you cache?

It depends on the state. Realistically no one is going to catch you.

AVG sucks, as do all things non-Microsoft. I'd go with the Microsoft products. They're better implemented and free as well.

I'd honestly update my software more often if Microsoft didn't force you to restart your computer every single fucking time. What is it with Microsoft and restarting your computer? Almost no one else requires this for their programs, and if they can do it, MS should be able to as well.

the computer is only about 6 months old. I did get a virus but took it to the geek squad who fixed it. Everything was working fine until a week ago when Google stopped working.
