Computer Question

Google thinks you are in China. You can't use cool google...

I have to ask the number one question asked by tech support people everywhere, have you rebooted your computer?

the computer is only about 6 months old. I did get a virus but took it to the geek squad who fixed it. Everything was working fine until a week ago when Google stopped working.
You need to delete cookies and clear cache.

My bad. Internet explorer. I need to clear my cache. How do I do it?
I'll assume you are using IE8.

On the right you will see a "Tools" dropdown arrow just above the page. Click that arrow and go to "Internet Options" in the dropdown menu. On the General Tab you will see just below the Home Page a "Browsing History". There you need to click the Delete button. This will clear it all...

All alternatives to MS Office suck monkey balls and should only be relied upon in times of desperation.

I doubt that you've ever used it and you are just doing your usual sthick which, and I hate to agree with USF, is getting very boring. I have found it hard to understand how somebody who claims to be a socialist sucks off the tits of massive corporations so easily? Libre Office, which is a fork of Open Office, has the support of Google, Red Hat, Novell and Canonical (the people behind Ubuntu Linux), but no doubt you've never heard of any of them.

Again, have you routinely updated your virus definitions through your anti-virus program? If not, I can almost guarantee you have a virus.

I've used Openoffice.

Yep. Primarily I'm just goading you, because it's so damn easy.

I am a socialist, but I"m also a monarchist, so I see it coming off as a wash and making me a moderate.

Microsoft Office is more feature rich, easier to use, and, incredibly, less bloated as well (I guess it has to do with OpenOffice being coded in Java). If money weren't an object (or, like me, you pirate), I'd definitely choose MS Office. MS Office even supports open documents now.

Open Office is mostly coded in C++ with some Java modules as well. MS Office may have a few more features but they are just never used by the vast majority of users anyway. The bloat argument had some validity but the developers of Libre Office have gone to great lengths to rectify that by optimising code and rewriting the Open Office source.
