What I'm doing is arguing for why white supremacist treasonous losers aren't worth honoring. You're welcome to make an argument for why they are. In the meantime, I think this is one of those things where we can accommodate people better if the decision is made at the local level, where it can reflect the community values of those who actually have to see the monument on a regular basis, rather than dictating a course at the state level, where you're effectively imposing an outcome mostly on behalf of those who never even see the monument, against those who do. You're arguing that things you don't like should come down and using that as an excuse. The argument for why they are has already been made when they were put up. That you don't agree is where you have the problem.

The problem is that when those on the local level that oppose statues like this lose when they try to do things the way you say, they take it into their own hands because they're whiners that don't like being told no committing criminal acts by doing so.
