Not only that -- apparently our Reichtard friends support federal government control of businesses as well. As in "I don't care how many employees are sick or dead, you WILL open back up and make the economy do stuff!"

Back in the old days, wasn't that called fascism? Or is government control over business socialism? I'm sure one of our ever-so-smart righties here can illuminate the situation for us. lol

The states rights issue is a moot point.

Healthy people who don’t feel threatened by the virus aren’t going to tolerate house arrest indefinitely. They just aren’t.

It reeks of hypocrisy to me; one can only imagine how much of a conniption, along with threats of rioting if Obama had done the same things Trump is doing.

No one is under house arrest. At least not in Texas. If your state has you under house arrest, file a suit and start making plans to move.

No one gives two shits if people say they are healthy and are too much of a delicate flower to chill like everyone else. You're free to go out and partake of what's out there but they are following the same principles. Meaning even if you could do everything you did before it won't be there for you. People were doing this stuff without the orders from the state and likely most will continue even after the orders expire. Every person healthy or not can carry and spread the virus with ease when exposed. You can get it and be fit as a fiddle with it but still kill a neighbor you come in contact with. Apparently you can spread it to dogs as well. Think of one person that isn't a 100% and think about how you'd feel endangering them because you're bored.

I haven't heard that about dogs but am wondering about cats after that tiger at the Bronx Zoo tested positive.

I've heard unsubstantiated rumors that some people actually survived getting it. Hard to believe but I guess it might be possible.
