Social distancing will be followed by the majority with or without stay at home orders. Concerts and sporting events will continue a hiatus since there is no way owners will endanger their breadwinners. After a while, they may attempt stuff with special conditions like the absence of fans or maybe more limited contact. Everyone is sacrificing some but it's worth stopping this from getting blown out into Biblical proportions. No Anime dubs for me, no moving, no traveling and sightseeing, no elected procedures for my health issues, no time with family in Ohio.
So I take it you're willing to volunteer at the closest hospital or nursing home, with or without PPE?

The science is clear, this is not 'just a fucking virus'. This is an insidious contagion.
- It spreads a week before symptoms at minimal.
- It stays in an active phase roughly three weeks.
- It's roughly a week or two after that you are still contagious.
- It damages the heart and liver
- It attacks T-cells, yeah HIV style... fucking T-cells.
- It causes clots, in the lungs.
- If you get too high a dose it overwhelms your immune system.
- It attacks the lungs and uses them as the primary path of spreading causing the equivalent of high altitude sickness then pneumonia and well death.
- It scars the heart and lungs, even with mild symptoms.
- It can lie dormant after getting sick and come back.
- Your immune system does not retain antibodies for the rest of your life, at the most a couple of months.
- 50% is asymptomatic but spread it and since the science is not clear that could be because of a low dosage amount and if they get it again with a higher dose it could be worse.

There isn't much else I can add to this terrifying and truthful post. Maybe just this: If more of our citizens had been educated in science, they would have a deeper understanding of how this virus works -- and why, at this point, our only hope is to maintain the shut-down until (maybe) a vaccine is created. I've been reading medical journal articles about how this virus infects humans. It's even more horrific than what you posted. And this is why *we* are going to maintain social distancing despite what governments declare is good.

Can't remember. In a village called Eyam, in Derbyshire, at the last outbreak, the people , not to spread infection, stayed home for months and died. They are still remembered and respected: they stopped it for centuries, and it hasn't come back yet.
