Some sad pathetic leftist dunce on this forum actually made this argument. I cannot imagine anything that could be more ignorant than this.

So in the empty heads of certain leftist hacks, a woman can make any claim about a man she wants, and she does not have to prove her claims are true. And that this would then result in the man losing his job, having his good name besmirched and possibly lead to divorce and more. The man is presumed to be guilty regardless of corroboration and should be immediately marched to the gulag. What kind of despicable, low life, unethical dunce would even attempt to make such a moronic argument?

No; we are not some third world lawless shit hole nation that will ignore the most important liberal doctrine we have; due process.

For those of you who have such asinine Fascist views, please self deport immediately. We, the people of America, will be happy to foot the bill. You have no right to even have the privilege of living here.
 
We have had death row sentences overturned by DNA evidence ....

after multiple eye witnesses claimed they saw the crime committed .

And no one corroborates Fords account .....

2 guys jumped her and pushed her into a bedroom and tried to rape her. Who was in there to say she was not? 2 men enter. Just 2. Where do you find all these sources that are silent? What do these witnsses look like'? Were they hiding in the closet? She escaped and ran out the front door. You think that should have been a memorable life experience for anyone who was ariound?
Over 80 people wanted to talk to the FBI about Brets drinking problems and aggression. the FBI was not allowed to talk to them.He likes beer.

That was the claim; Ford also claimed her best friend was there. Yet everyone she named, including her bestie, declared under penalty of perjury that they were never there.

Next; she can't remember how she got there. She can't remember how she got home. She can't remember what year it happened. She can't remember what day. She can't remember where the place was.

I want you to reach deep down in your brain cells and answer me this; what police department is going to investigate something so flimsy?

Just a guess. She walked. Do you know what you were doing 35 years ago? If you were almost raped, you would remember that. After a few years, the extraneous details fade. Bu the trauma is burned in your brain with how it felt and who did it. Wake up and force your self to think.

Duke La Crosse rape
Rolling Stone University of Virginia fraternity rape
California child care workers

Everybody believed the accused was guilty until the accuser turned out to be lying.

In the Rolling Stone case people argued that those kinds of sexual assaults do occur so although that particular event did not occur it was ok to write about them.

Good points; yet the irony here is that Kavanaugh was NEVER accused of any rapes. Interesting how people keep claiming that; and not by accident.

MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more often...they do...and the accusations are real.

I suggest...DON'T "BELIEVE" EITHER WAY.

Investigate.

THOROUGHLY.

VERY THOROUGHLY.

The FBI did not interview Ford.

I suspect that was because someone did not want them to interview Kavanaugh...which they would have had to do if they interviewed Ford.

All I would ask for...is a thorough investigation.

Actually, several posters said he was guilty of sexual assault and rape falls under sexual assault and frequently referred to him as a rapist.

At the time the most serious thing he could have been charged with was attempted rape which was only a misdemeanor with a one-year statute of limitations (since changed). Since he never removed any of her clothes it is hard to prove what he intended to do.

It was an alleged assault...actually alleged assault and battery, because the allegation contained a push.

A decent prosecutor could work Unlawful detention into the charges.

It should have been thoroughly investigated.

Your side managed to prevent it from being thoroughly investigated.

Proof, among other things, that elections have consequences.

I think a real investigation after all this time would not have proven anything. If 100 friends testified he drank often and blacked out is no evidence whatsoever that he committed sexual assault.

I never attempted to conclude whether either of them was telling the truth but that if she was telling the truth did it disqualify him from the court due to his age and many years of professional and judicial experience with no reports of drinking problems or sexual misconduct by any of his fellow workers. I did the same thing with Clarence Thomas.

Not looking for proof. Looking for facts that might make one side or the other more likely to be the truth.

THAT, in my opinion, WOULD BE DISQUALIFYING.
