Ya, it reminds me of when I was in 6th grade in 1973 and a peer told me "Steve, why are you so serious, nobody cares" because I was always looking around, asking why, trying to learn.

My entire life after that indicates that this not caring about learning, not wanting to get better, this abject laziness is epidemic "Oh just fill my head with nonsense, I dont care, I just want to have fun!".
