CRT Controversy. Does it really matter what we teach in high school?!

Because a well rounded education is important. I was a science kind of person. But the other subjects were an important part of my education. History. Government. Humanities. Band. Exposure to all of that allows students to find their strong suit. Their passion.

Science courses cannot be complete without history behind it.
 
Anyone who is teaching history as a series of dates and names is a terrible history teacher.

Lack of historical knowledge is why the Iraq War turned into a fiasco.

A lack of historical knowledge lead directly to the Afghanistan fiasco.

Competing with China requires a good working knowledge of their history.

Whatever their flaws are, the framework of landmark human rights treaties, non-proliferation treaties, and non-aggression treaties subsequent to WW2 were based on a proper respect for historical awareness.

It's not a "class" in K-12...you do know that, don't you? Just the " woke agenda" incorporated into other classes/activities....and only certain teachers....that's why it's so important for parents to pay attention to what's happening....

A lack of intellectual curiosity is pervasive from the right. They use Twitter and Facebook as their sources of information, rather than doing actual homework. Is it stupidity or merely willful ignorance?
