CRT Controversy. Does it really matter what we teach in high school?!

The real problem is the rightys are trying to erase racism
Yes. It is a fallacy. It is destructive. YOU are trying to enhance racism. You are racist.
and its foul history in America.
Not just history, dude. You are being racist even now.
It would take a couple of generations, and our racist history would be gone.
Racism.
CRT is about teaching college history people that we have organized, and have institutions that have taken opportunity from blacks for 200 years.
Racism.
Nobody is teaching grade school and high school kids about redlining.
Lie. Denial of history.
They are not taught Jim Crow. They are not taught about voter suppression.
Lie. Denial of history.
This is typical rightys affixing names and lies to harmless history lessons.
Denial of history. Teaching racism isn't history. It is racism. Redefinition fallacy.
Ask your kids what they think about redlining and Jim Crow. They were real and shameful. They are not taught in schools.
They are. Denial of history.
Ask them what lynching was.
Why? You want to lynch people?

Heck no, it doesn't matter.......so lets teach that abortion is murder, that there is no other God than JHWH and that Jesus is his only begotten son who died to save you from your sins and that global warming is a natural cycle that humans have no means of impacting......

Aren't they the ones protecting Confederate statues and it's the Lefties seeking to destroy and erase history?
Yes.
The claim CRT is being taught in K-12 is a lie.
Denial of history.
Trumpers lie a lot. I know it. You know it. The Trumpers deny it.
Inversion fallacy. You are describing yourself.
Time will tell if Truth prevails.
Cliche fallacy.

No argument presented.

Nicholas Clairmont ‘Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.’

this thread explains why the left behaves like fascists but point their fingers elsewhere...

If you were more than an insane old man you'd be able to explain what, exactly, is being taught in K-12 that you consider to be "CRT".

If you can't, don't worry about it. You've earned your rest, gramps.

Semantics fallacy. RQAA. Denial of history. Insult fallacy. Bigotry. Trolling. No argument presented.

Wow are you crazy. CRT is a curriculum. Do you know what that is and where such things exist?
Paradox. Which is it, dude? You deny CRT, then justify it's existence. Irrational. You cannot argue both sides of a paradox.
Rightys want to control everything including education.
Inversion fallacy. You are describing Democrats. Parents should control education. Remember they are, after all, the ones paying for it!
You and others like you are so dishonest about it.
Inversion fallacy.

You're going to have to define 'global warming' first! Teaching undefined buzzwords is not education. It is a void argument. It's also indoctrination.

Voluntary abortion is, of course, murder. Murder for the sake of convenience. There is no way it can be described as anything other than this. It is taking a human life for the sake of convenience.

For the person where life means nothing, killing means nothing.

While I am also a Christian, it has no place in the schools. That is to be taught at home and by your church. There is no clergy in school, and the Bible itself is only evidence, not a proof. Like all religions, Christianity is based on an initial circular argument (that Christ exists, and that He is who He says He is, namely the Son of God). That argument cannot be proven True nor False. It MUST be taken on faith. The circular argument, which is NOT a fallacy, is also called the Argument of Faith.

Are you going to deny someone an education simply because they have a different religion?

If you want your child given a religious education, several churches (including the Catholic church) have organized schools where that is part of the curriculum. Enroll your child in that if you choose to.

Whether someone can read or not should not be up to what religion you practice.
Whether someone can perform math or not should not be up to what religion you practice.

Whether someone can learn any of the engineering disciplines such as design and/or maintenance in aviation, marine, or automotive areas should not be up to what religion you practice.

Whether someone can learn any theory of science, including thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, chemistry, mechanics, etc. should not be up to what religion you practice. Science is agnostic. It doesn't care whether a god or gods exist or not. It simply doesn't go there.

The psuedo-sCiEnCes, such as 'global warming', 'covid pandemic', 'green energy', the Theory of Evolution, the Theory of Natural Selection, the Theory of the Big Bang, the Theory of Abiogenesis, or the Theory of Creation, are religions, not science. They should not be taught in schools any more than Christianity should be. Such theories are not falsifiable, or are based on fallacies.

Anyone claiming they know the age of the Earth, the temperature of the Earth, the global sea level, the global concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere, the total snow and ice on Earth, the pH of the oceans, etc. is denying mathematics, or science, or both. They are simply quoting made up shit or making up shit themselves.

I appreciate that you are trying to show the wackiness of their position, it's best to clarify where the line of demarcation should belong.

Just curious. What the fuck was that babble you posted?!

is english a second language for you ?

first, read the quote.

second, you in particular expressed that you learned nothing from history.

third, fascism was covered in your high school history class

fourth, since you didnt learn it, you repeat it (do it yourself)

fifth, because you didnt learn it but you DID get the memo that it was a "bad" word, you attempt to use it to describe OTHER people instead of recognizing it in yourself and your ilk

First, the quote is from Santayana.

Second, I never said I learned nothing from history.

Two lies from you so far.

The rest is not substantial enough to respond to.

Did any rightys actually go to high school? History is so superficial. The kids sleepwalk through it. The bleating about it inculcating racism is absurd. It is meaningless. A term of American history will not propagandize anyone. They are noticing girls' lumpy shirts and want to get out of class as soon as possible. There is no way to sway kids in a class of history. You do know the class teaches a lot more history than just the terrible way we treated blacks, don't You?
The real point is to erase our racist actions from history.
It works because they manufacture fake outrage and you mindless right-wing drones jump on board.
