Dallas Officer Says Black Man Killed In His Own Apartment Is To Blame

It was an accident.

If it were intentional as you allege she would have be charged with 1st degree.

Per her statement, she fired the gun knowingly. Murder 1 is the appropriate charge. That she was mistaken about the situation does not make that part an accident. The police are conspiring to bring the least charges possible because she's a cop. The evidence is all over the place. Even the latest smear capaign about the bag of weed in the victim's apartment. You must be blind

I am not blinded by hatred like most here.

I understand the law.

Giving the current charges and what's in this current affidavit, it's clear you have no clue what you are posting about.

No matter how you cut it, what happened to this man is tragic and up until recently, I felt there was a broad consensus that the officer involved should face serious criminal charges. Even people who are usually willing to believe the officer's version no matter what were forced to concede that this officer was at fault --- but now, I think they may have a way to blame the dead guy on this one.

According to Dallas officer Amber Guyger, she issued verbal commands to the deceased and he wouldn't comply with her commands, so she was forced to shoot him. In other words, she is trotting out the old "the scary black man wouldn't comply so I shot him" defense. This is a pretty good defense because there are many times where "suspects" don't comply and in turn the officer fears for their safety and shots have to be fired -- but this man was not a suspect, he was in his own home, she was the one breaking and entering.

Unfortunately, after some time has passed and the attention is not as focused, I can very well see this excuse paying off and this woman facing no serious time. What say you?

They were sleeping together.

There's video.

When Minty/Stargazer produces the video of Mollie's murder, I'll provide this video.

Neighbor heard her banging on his door, and yelling.

She aimed the gun and pulled the trigger. Not an accident. She was mistaken in her assessment of the situation, but she did not make a mistake according to her excuse. She thought it was her place and the burglar was a threat. She meant to shoot. That she thought she had to shoot was a mistake and not an accident because she is trained to think that way.
Yes. Time to train these cops differently. Won't happen until grand juries start to change

As she should be. Imagine if this were a civilian who walked into the wrong house and shot the owner because they thought it was a burglar? The excuses the cop is using would not hold up in court as well without a badge and you know it. Put her in prison, any other person would have met the same fate. Cops should be held to at least the same standards as the rest of us, if not higher standards.

The Grand Jury has nothing to do with this case.

However, training is another matter.

Dallas is a Democrat run city and just this month changed the starting pay from 49k to 61k for LEO's.

This has been a problem.

Dallas is literally thousands of LEO's short since Black Lies Matter assassinated the 5 LEO's 2 years ago.

There is not enough LEO's to even protect Firefighter's there during dangerous calls.

Bottom line is ..... if this shooting is due to a lack of training with LEO, you can hang this man's death on the Democrat Party.
