So your argument is trump lied, made people question the election and they got so enraged they "stormed" the capitol to keep trump in power. That about sums it up doesnt it?

Thats only one small element, he also set up a slate of fake electors who were going to go in an vote for him. He tried to get officials to FIND him enough votes to win. He refused to do anything about it when the riot was raging. He tried to go to the Capital to further enrage the crowd. He lied to the American people to try to subvert the election results.
