How about Hillary? She denied that Trump was the legitimate President. She also mishandled Classified documents. Did you call for her prosecution? Joe Biden had Classified documents that were smuggled out of a SCIF when he was a Senator should he be arrested and indicted?

The guy committed several crimes adding up to an attempted end to democratic rule, and you jerk offs don’t believe it was criminal. You guys are idiots.
It’s clear he committed the crimes, the facts are not really in question here. The only issue is if the jury agrees and what the judge will do about it.
That’s not the goal, IMO. They want to make him as unelectable as possible leading up to the 2024 election. Otherwise they wouldn’t have dragged this out as long as it has been. For those true “Trumpers” though, I really think he could shoot someone in public and they’d still vote for him. But that’s not who they’re hoping to convince anyway.

Maybe not, but you’re going to have a hard time convincing the “other side” of that when they watched cities literally burning, business vandalized and stolen from, city vehicles beaten and turned upside down…all with very little to no prosecution taking place because … protest.
I might agree that some of these people (both situations) needed to be prosecuted…but you don’t have to convince me. Like I said, you’re going to have a hard time convincing the other guys that is not “political.”
He is unlikely to go to jail, but he might. If convicted he will be punished, house arrest, no access to internet, restricted travel, fines, no voting, no firearms…. Probation. He will be a felon.
He is close to 80, I don’t really care if he actually sees the inside of a jail, but I think a week or so would be appropriate if he is convicted just so he learns that our laws are very real and that we take fucking with democracy seriously.

Prisoners are not generally allowed social media. If he is spared prison for safety reasons it would be perfectly normal and common place for him not to be allowed social media.
I think a lot of people were prosecuted in the riots you mentioned, but I’d have to look for a source. They should have been.
It’s clear to me Trump committed more than the crimes they charged him with. The delay was caused by a lot of Trumps ally’s refusal to testify and fighting subpoenas. I wish he could have been charged a year or two ago, but when the truth is known, if you look I think you will see the delays were due to uncooperative witnesses.
Crimes, especially against those trusted with our democracy, should be prosecuted.
Some people will never look at truth or reality, they just go with emotion and conspiracy theories.
Trump made himself unelectable. His fans just cannot figure that out. He is a waddling crime wave and a teenage bully wearing a geezer's suit and a tie too long. His 4 years should be shown to all the future to tell what can go wrong in America if you are not vigilant.
