I trust Americans at state and federal medical agencies to do the best they can to obtain an accurate count. That's why, in all likelihood, the current count is low and an accurate count won't be known until this is all over when reports and cases are thoroughly analyzed. This is still a novel virus, not just another case of the flu bug

Actually, it’s probably well over 200,000 deaths. This article talks about deaths in excess of normal. Those excessive deaths have followed the wave of COVID across the country almost exactly. And it was written a couple weeks ago. The bottom line is that the current 180,000 is a substantial undercount.

The exact same people who said invading Iraq was going to be a great idea and a cake walk, are the exact same people who said COVID was no worse than the common cold, and any talk of it being a major public health risk to the nation was a Democratic hoax.

If we administered as many tests for the common flu as we did for COVID-19, and counted any little presence of common flu viruses in the nasal cavities as a "case" (infected with the common flu), you'd see numbers much higher than you are seeing for COVID-19...

A bit of COVID-19 in one's nasal cavities is NOT a "case"... it is NOT an infection. All of these supposed "asymptomatic" "cases" are in actuality NOT cases at all, as no infection has occurred.

It is clearly a hoax to boost numbers to fear monger to gain compliance and control/power over people and their day to day activities.
