DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM: THE GREAT OXYMORON!!

Where do you derive your data points. The US is not a Democracy and the Europen countries are capitalistic. The difference is where they direct the taxes. The countries that spend money on education and support programs for citizens are still capitalistic. That does not change the fact that the people work and pay taxes. They vote and have similar governments to ours.
We are an oligopoly with more and more power and money trickling up to the top. It is America that is moving away from a democracy.

Our founders never intended to create a "democracy" they created a "CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC." Absolute democracy is mob rule, two wolves & one sheep deciding what to have for lunch. The only "democracy" the founders intended was the system employed to choose the politicians SWORN BY OATH to loyalty to the CONSTITUTION, not the majority will of the masses.

LIE and LAME. Venezuela is the PERFECT example as is Cuba, China and any other Marxist wonderland. America had NOTHING to do with Venezuela's collapse and I, along with many others, predicted the outcome of the Venezuelan economy right after Hugo Chávez took over.

Hugo Chávez rhetoric mirrors that of any of today's Democratic Party of the Jackass candidates.

Socialism does not work. Never has worked and anytime you place that much power in a Government, it leads to Fascism.

Now tell us SPECIFICALLY with sources how you come to the moronic conclusion that America had ANYTHING to do with the SELF inflicted mess in Venezuela.

For morons on the left; the definition of Socialism:

You need to work on your reading comprehension. I did not say they didn't have Socialism. I said they didn't have Social Democracy.

See this is why you should try to not be rude. You made a mistake, acted really mean, and now you feel stupid.

This is why you are a dishonest leftist hack; you never answer any questions and construct strawman arguments.

I absolutely will answer that question.

But first, you have to admit you misread my sentence and you have to apologize for being rude.

So you won't apologize for the mistake you made? How sad.
How old are you?

I didn't make a mistake. Only a simpleton like you think there is a difference between Social Democracy and Socialism.

social democracy
noun
Definition of social democracy

1 : a political movement advocating a gradual and peaceful transition from capitalism to socialism by democratic means
2 : a democratic welfare state that incorporates both capitalist and socialist practices

Truth is most industrial countries are a mix of capitalism and socialism. That assumes you define socialism as any tax money given to specific groups of people. In America, we send the money up to the top enriching the 1 percent and corporations. Some other countries provide a safety net, healthcare, and education for the people. It is not a different system, just a different allocation. The people in these so-called socialist countries work, many for corporations, just like we do.
