Democrats Are Favored to Take Back the Senate

We choose the winner by electoral votes. Get back to me when you have an understanding of how that system works and why it was put in place.

Exactly. The final results for the 2016 presidential election - Donald J. Trump, 306 Electoral College votes, the Hildebeast, just 232 Electoral College votes. The Electoral College votes are the ONLY ones that matter.

FFS. I know how the system works and I knew you would reply this way. This is how the conversation always goes:

Trumper: "The polls predicted Hillary would win. The polls were wrong."

Me: "The polls weren't wrong. They predicted she would win the popular vote and she did."

Trumper: "The popular vote doesn't matter. Only the electoral college matters."

Me: "Ok, but that's not what we were talking about. We were talking about whether or not the polls are accurate."

That you think someone can win something that isn't a part of the process proves you don't have an understanding of the process. A poll on something that doesn't determine the winner is meaningless, therefore, you claim is meaningless.

You don't listen. I told you to get back to me when you understood not because you're still whining about Hillary getting her ass kicked in the ONLY manner that determines the winner.

In mid-July of 2016 Clinton had a 12% lead over Trump. I have no clue who will win but that illustrates a lot can change in 4 months.

I don't see a Comey in Trump's future this time. Comey gutted Hillary with a wrong press conference that took away her lead. Comey made Trump president and in return, Trump destroyed him.

Sigh. Rather than admit you're wrong, you're sticking to your guns. We weren't talking about the election process. We were talking about the nature of polling and whether or not it's accurate. The polls did, in fact, predict that Hillary was winning the popular vote.

Hillary's numbers had been declining before Comey. McCabe's book said Comey held that press conference because the Justice Department had lost credibility after Clinton's meeting with Lynch on the tarmac. Republicans think Comey's press conference helped Clinton after saying he would not prosecute. I doubt if it helped or hurt--I don't think Hillary voters would switch to Trump because they chose not to prosecute.

but failed to factor in how elections work. are your current polls factoring in the geographical data needed? prolly not, lucky.

You can't win something that isn't part of the process in picking the winner. What's so hard to understand about that, boy. Perhaps that 85 IQ prevents you from understanding even simple things.
