Naww Dems won't learn from their mistakes and Trump will improve things while Dems try to stop what the majority wants him to do. I predicts the GOP will pick up seats in 2026.

Traditionally the party out of power gains the house during mid-terms.

But who knows, public sentiment is so strongly in favor of Trump that it could buck that trend. But it's only been two weeks, this kind of pace can't keep up.

Nope, I don't think he can do whatever he wants. I do think he can run the Executive Branch any way he wants. Just like Congress can run the Legislative branch any way they want.

Relax. Remember, he talked about DOGE during the campaign. He was elected to do it.

I just don't understand why you leftists are shitting your pants over 1% of the federal budget. What about USAID is so special to you guys? Are you that in love with foreign aid?

Um, I suspect much if not all of that is about as truthful as every case brought against him to try and eliminate their political rival. Regardless of that, I'm suggesting that he hasn't lied to me. I've never heard anything he said that wasn't true and I personally verified most of his promises to me.

You morons always look for an example of someone lying and then say "look, I told you he's a liar, you can't believe a thing" First, 99% of the time you actually have no idea if his side of the story or the other is correct. 2nd you morons act like someone's entire life's achievements and good deeds are wiped out if an imperfection is found, of course, that doesn't apply to you or your hive masters. Everyone lies many times in the process of learning why you shouldn't and that it never works out for the best and decent people learn and dramatically reduce lies until they have all but stopped. Some sooner than others.

I don't call someone a liar unless I'm sure of it 100%. Biden lied to my face many times that I could and did verify. Trump not so much, in fact, never. What you would point out as lies are mostly ridiculous, either because you didn't understand the joke or you read or was told something out of context, etc.

It's all in his programming. If his programmers were to update his software to instead HATE "foreign aid", then he would immediately HATE it. I put foreign aid in quotes for a reason.
