Banning AR-15s (which I am heartily in favor of) is not unconstitutional. Again, I know it's a challenge, but try reading Heller. If it was unconstitutional, multiple states couldn't have done it. Get it?

Driving is a privilege, gun ownership is a right. 'Murica, boy!
However, gun safety should be mandatory in all public schools. It used to be an unspoken mandatory rule in all American households whether they had guns or not. The reason for that being is that most people did.
Even ones that didn't have guns realized that their kids' will probably encounter guns in their friends' households and took the time to teach them proper.
Me and my cousins never messed with their parents' guns, even though the key stayed in the gun cabinet lock and the ammo drawer wasn't locked anyways.
Not until they handed us guns. Then the gun safety rules kick in.

banning guns only affects those who desire to be peacable..............criminals don't obey these laws and it makes innocent people more likely to be targets

My best guess would be other criminals. Some folks who live across the county from me had 4 guns stolen out of their house two nights ago.
You don't suppose gun dealers are doing that now do you, seeing that they've got plenty of incentive to do so.

I've been a registered Democrat since 1967.
You don't see me calling for repeal of the 5th Amendment.
All of my relatives and friends are Democrats or else they wouldn't be allowed to be part of my life.
If any of them are passing around a partition to repeal the 2nd Amendment, it hasn't gotten to me yet.
None of the Democrats who represent me in government have called out for the repeal of the 2nd Amendment.
Where do I go, then, to find them?
