Democrats Should Ditch the Anti-Gun Rhetoric

A .22 is great for plinking and assassination but shitty for self-defense. A 9mm is better for self-defense and, compared to other like-sized calibers or larger, is cheaper to shoot.

we had a saying in the Marine Corps.........9 mm is a great gun to shoot, until you have to shoot somebody.......then it sucks. If your ammo doesn't start with a 4, it's too small

I have mostly 40s-glocks, one ruger hunter 22 with the fluted barrel, few shotguns, AR 10 308 , few small rifles

Nice selection. TBH, I've never fired a .40. All the military had was .38s, .45s and 9mms. I like the 7.62, both the X51 and the X39. I also have a couple of Mosins for cheap long range fun.

...and if it starts with a 2, it's way too small. Except for execution.

With the Marine Corps we have .45s. When I went to the Navy it was .38s...and I wasn't going to end up like William Holden in "The Bridges of Toko-Ri" so, when deployed, I brought my Browning Hi Power, two 25-rd magazines (plus the 13 round in it) and a box of rounds. It spent most of the deployment in the armory.

I can't read STY's posts, obviously.
I'm not looking to purposely hemorrhage IQ points by reading his/hers/its shit.

Nevertheless, just looking at the thread title, I tend to agree.

We need universal healthcare.
We need an abolition of right to work laws.
We need a national commitment to serious education.
We need freedom FROM, not OF, religion.
We need to move certain industries out of the private sector and further regulate many industries that remain there.

Wasting time on firearms legislation is a travesty.
Americans have capped one another's asses since day one of our nation's existence.
It's what we do. As long as all 50 of our incompatible states live under the current constitution,
we're clearly not going to do a fucking thing about guns. I don't even care about them, one way or another.

Gun violence may be a BIG problem, but at the same time, it's one of our smallest problems in America.
We have SERIOUS problems to address first before we try to alter our long established national inclination to shoot one another.

we had .45s my first 2 years in, then they went to the taurus 9mm.

we're hoping you die of old age first, and quickly.

I never saw the 9mm. It was coming, but the airdales were always last on the supply chain.

We were still eating C-rats on exercises and deployments when the grunts were eating MREs.

Fascism and communism doesn't work. Everything you are suggesting here is unconstitutional.

You have already shown otherwise.

Define 'The Problem'.

people who are so chickenshit they are afraid to go to the store without their penis extender should be banned from owning any gun for life. too fucking stupid and chickenshit. like Kyle.

I have been saying for two years that the Revolution is coming for guns....I wonder if this is next on the agenda after the Socialism Advancement bill.
