As this and other political forums prove, both sides have haters. IMHO, hate is a mental disorder; severe in some, less so in others, but still a disorder. Hate is an emotion so strong it clouds or completely blocks judgment and reason.

No, it doesn't. What makes you "Abby Normal" is thinking common sense and respect for the truth are abnormal.

Most children and adults with childlike minds think they are special. Part of maturation is to realize they are no more special than anyone else. Their thoughts, on average, are common to all human beings regardless of language, culture, gender or any other differences.

Disagreed. It's a matter of culture, training and circumstances.

A woman may freeze with fear if surprised by a large, single man in a dark parking lot but that same woman would attack an entire gang of terrorists with her purse if her child was in danger.

Again, you aren't any more special than anyone else as am I and everyone else. We're all on this forum by choice even though there are members here who, through no choice of their own, are isolated in their rooms/home with the Internet being their main form of human interaction.

True, both sides have haters, but the right is based upon hate. Hatred of immigrants (possibly including their own parents or grandparents), blacks, the left, Democrats, (and those are two different things), foreigners, truth, and a bunch of things that they clearly don't understand, like socialism. Many of them clearly hate America and everything that it stands for, though they'll deny it, which only proves that they are ignorant about what America really is. Not surprising, since most of them appear to be ignorant of almost everything. The only ones that I observe to be more ignorant are gun control freaks.
