Well, freezing hiring is a good start.
I think the Democrats are realizing their 2018 election win emboldened them to finally take the positions required not to sway moderates, but because the base is much larger than everyone wants them to believe.
That's why you see viable Presidential candidates calling for M4A, GND, a wealth tax, a 70% rate on the wealthy, a 77% Estate Tax (and lowering of the threshold).
I believe the Democrats are going to replicate the success in 2020 that they saw in 2018. I think Trump is going to drag down the GOP so much that they could lose another 40 seats in the House, and the Senate can flip back to Dems...particularly if we field good candidates like Stacey Abrams (who I am hoping decides to take on Purdue in 2020).
So do you feel they are offering this plan to satisfy the moderates in the party?
Why even have a plan when we all know boarder security isn't really a problem?
