What a shame. That sad trend will continue if ppl like Toxic get their way and use political pressure to pretend that there isn't really a spectrum with kids who need a little extra help.

I accidentally went to a support group for Asberger's ppl. I meant to attend a dementia seminar in that room, but got the date wrong. Saw the conference room filling with attendees and decided to sit in for a little while to see what it was about. Such delightful, bright, and evidentally accomplished people! They were really nice when I admitted to curiosity and lack of knowledge. Mostly it intrigued me because my yoiungest, a real special ed teacher with a Master's, has told me that I appear to be one of them. :)
My biggest point is taking away much needed funding for kids with problems like these isn't doing anybody any good epically them.

TOP Here is an honest question. Who is harder to teach? One of your former students or the average Liberal here?
Well, that's easy... Teaching isn't a walk in the park...but my former students were worth the time and effort...and I enjoyed teaching them... There are a few liberals here worth my time...I message them privately...
The others I just very patiently tolerate...;)
