A lot of people, looking in the rear view mirror with 2,000 years of hindsight, tend to see the parable of the good Samaritan as just common sense for any decent person, not realizing how radical a teaching it really was.

Sure, that's why there's a big difference between, let's say, a Trump figure who understands the responsibility that comes with such power and knows of its temptations. He seeks to reduce the power of those satan soldiers and restore more power to individuals in our great country. The libtards seek that power to expand it and revel in it, then use it for all the wrong uses and for all the wrong reasons.

The founders understood this as well, but they also knew there is no way of governing without such power. That left them with the difficult task of limiting power as much as possible and as much as any governing system had ever attempted in all of human history.
