OWEbama doesn't care about these people. He got his photo-op with Christie and then it was back to the campaign trail. He promised it doesn't look like he is delivering. Do they have to plead with the Messiah for help? Shouldn't he just know what they need?

I've noticed that getting the government out of the way is the way to resolve this (temporarily removing taxes on gasoline delivered in the area was one way)... Yet more government is the way to resolve everything else.

Liberals have a disconnect with reality.

Bush was responsible for the CRA that caused the sub prime mortgage crash?
The banks predicted this Crash when carter ordered them to give these loans, again when Clinton extended them.

The problem isn't in gasoline getting there, it is in the problem of the power it takes to pump it out of the tanks... no electricity, no gas from the pump.

Unless you think Cuomo is magically something other than Democrat, you are just spouting ignorance based on stupid talking points that aren't based in any reality.

Notice how he got the government out of the frickin' way to make the delivery more efficient. Notice how he's directly trying to get electricity... Most of the damaged stations aren't damaged, they simply don't have power and thus gasoline in their tanks is stuck under the ground waiting for power so people can pump gas...

Again, the disconnect from reality comes from your instant assumption that people were getting away with something, weren't delivering gasoline, and because they weren't FEMA didn't care.

Reality: Gasoline is being delivered, it was made more efficient by waiving the pre-payment of taxes before delivery and getting the government bureaucracy out of the way, and even Cuomo can understand that without electricity there will still be problems getting gasoline from the tank to the cars, generators, etc...

Now the stupidity of using huge generators for the marathon is Bloomberg's alone. Those things could have helped immensely.
