I bought some (60) canning jars. I'm making Chow Chow for a 100 year old family recipe. It requires a lot of green tomatoes and I finally have them. When I make it I have to decide it with family members like gold. :laugh:

Yep! Going to a show tomorrow with a bunch of my friends. Last week, 8 of us went to one on the 4th.
Only one of us came home with a trophy. The guy who ran the show is a dick, he doesn't like me because I suggested an alternative way to make things run smoother. His los,s not mine.
 
I saw a report that the first day was down over 40% from last year.

We got some of those cardboard cat scratchers.
