IMO this is going to hurt a lot of people with higher prices and do some real damage to the economy
Temporarily... You're going to make yourself sick if you keep stressing out like this....

And again Truckers will start passing these costs on to the consumer driving up the cost of everything you buy and that is not good for people or the US economy.

It is especially bad for retired ppl like Toxic claims to be, living on a pittance of a fixed income. But this is a charter member of the Cut-Off-Your-Nose-To-Spite-Your-Face Club, so as long as there's an (R) in charge, she's fine with increasing poverty, hers and yours and mine.

The trump economy was on edge before this, and you admit that there is a huge energy shock in store for it. It does not look good for the Republicans' chances this November.
One of the reasons gas and fuel prices are still this low is Trump pulled oil out of the national reserve if he hadn't done that prices would be a lot higher.
And when that oil is gone prices will go up even more.

Sure wish that it wasn't.

Since the #FatFascistFelon began squatting again in our White House, it's been rumored that he will try to subvert or even cancel the 2026 midterm elections. He's even said we can't have an election if there's a war going on, apparently having totally forgotten about Vietnam, which he chickened out of. This war might be the excuse he needs to try to test that theory. Even if it crashes the economy and sends us spiraling into another W-sized recession.
What else can you expect from a madman.

Well I have been retired for 24 years now and I am lucky I have a good income and can still handle all these price increases , but spending money for no good reason is really stupid.
