I think the single greatest spreader of hatred and evil in the world is religion, and Christianity is about as bad as it gets. If those people spent the time they spend hating gays and women who want abortions on improving themselves and demonstrating compassion, this would look like a completely different world.

He may well be on his way to madness, as he will rightly find himself increasingly isolated from social circles other than increasingly with the worst elements on the right, creating a downward spiral for him.

At least in this country, Xtianity has been dreadfully perverted by some. Instead of a means for self-improvement, a lot of religions seem to be more of a path to have power over others.
